•    Drawing in Color  --Students will learn drawing techniques using color mediums such as pastels, colored pencils, oil pastels and watercolor pencils.  They will learn about creating values, textures,  blending colors and perspective to help create realism in their work.

•    Fiber Arts –Students will create both a batik and a weaving in class.  Batik: Batik is a form of decorating fabric using wax resist and fabric dyes. Students may create a fabric wall hanging or throw pillow.     Weaving:  Students will have the choice of creating a stick, loom or basket weaving depending on age level.  Completion of the weaving will require working on it outside of class also!
